Referrals from prospective customers

We encourage any developer to offer 30 – 60 minutes of your expertise for free, thereafter it’s entirely at your discretion if you’d like to offer a quotation and charge the client accordingly. We do not expect any commission for this type of referral.

What happens after a referral?
Within a week of the referral, we contact you to see how it went. This is to ensure you’re happy with the referral and to see how you were able to help. This often helps us to better refer more clients, as it often helps us to better understand how you work and learn more about what you offered, therefore what you can potentially offer again.
We also contact the client a week after the referral with a questionnaire to find out how they felt things went. We encourage clients to give us feedback as this can help all parties to provide a better service in the future.

What if you’re not happy?
If you’re not happy, or have any concerns about the types or referral you’re receiving, tell us! Things don’t always go to plan in life, so if we’re going wrong somewhere or if you can see a way for us to improve, just let us know, we’re always happy to hear your recommendations.

Of course, if may not be us you’re unhappy with, it may be your neighbour next door or the client. Well, we can’t do much if your neighbour’s keeping you awake at night, but we can often intervene and try assist with disputes with clients. It’s not just in your best interest to ensure the client it happy, it’s in ours too.

What if the client’s not happy?
This has never happened yet, but it could do one day. People are people and by the very nature of business and web design, there can always be problems encountered and expectation not met. If this happens we’re well positioned as an impartial and independent party to assist with handling disputes and break-downs in communication.
